What small step will I take today that will get me closer to my goal?

My names Brittany Rendak. My life is pretty far from normal. Some might say I should have my own television crew following me around all day. Others might say I need to remember to breathe into between words when I talk. Long story short: I love telling elaborate stories.

 

I started my website to share my own story and most importantly influence, inspire, and motivate others like me to live a life full of love and happiness.​ Over the last year I decided to really focus on myself, find my purpose in the world, and go for my true passion. I finally made the big move to Los Angeles, my dream city, all the way from the windy city, Chicago. Not only have I loved absolutely everything about LA since I was born, I also realized it is the place I need to be in order to grow my career in the entertainment industry. Keep up with my blog to follow me through my journey of making it in LA, along with motivational tips about everything you can imagine. I'm sure it will be anything but boring!​

I've always loved performing and being in front of the camera growing up. I realized I could take my love for arts, writing, and storytelling to get a degree in Journalism. People tell me that I chose a perfect career because I never stop talking or asking questions. The world of  Journalism offers me so much more.  I want to listen to people and help them share their story with the world. My true passion is covering entertainment news because I am addicted to pop culture, fashion, and utilizing social media in stories. I don't know if I will end up in front of the camera or behind it, but it doesn't matter to me as long as I am doing what I love.

I currently work in Talent Publicity at an award winning public relations firm, supporting two busy publicists. 

​

In addition, I have valuable experience as working as an on air reporter and anchor at KOMU 8 News. I was a daily reporter, morning live reporter, and anchor/producer for the red carpet entertainment segment weekly. In addition, I was a member of KOMU 8's Target 8 Investigative team, where I produced captivating investigative pieces.

Fun Fact: You can normally find me singing or dancing at any given moment and I am actually not too bad. I love sharing my entertainment knowledge with other millennials. Follow me to keep up with all the latest.
